Description
Church Farmhouse, also known as Nos 21 & 22, is a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century, as indicated on a map from 1733. The cottages are two storeys high and feature a continuous tiled roof, although the upper courses of No 21 are later additions. There are three ridge chimneys, with the left-hand chimney made of ashlar stone.
No 21 is constructed from squared rubble and has two windows with chamfered mullions set in rebated surrounds. The ground floor features a three-light window, a central window with a concrete lintel, and a modern left-hand window framed by buttresses.
No 22 is built from coursed rubble and has two and three-light casement windows with modern lintels. There are two windows on the first floor and one four-light window on the ground floor. To the right, there is a rustic gabled porch with a chamfered doorway.
