Description
A pair of monuments is located in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints, approximately 18 meters south of the south porch. The monuments consist of a chest tomb and a pedestal tomb made of limestone.
The chest tomb is dedicated to Ann, the wife of Thomas Smith, who died in 1791, and features partially legible inscriptions, including one for Ann Painter, who died in 1780. It has a moulded plinth with inset corners, inscriptions on all four sides framed by beaded margins, a frieze above, and a capping with a moulded margin.
The pedestal tomb dates from the late 18th century and has partially legible inscriptions on the south and west sides. It also has a moulded plinth with inset corners, beaded margins on the inscription panels, a plain frieze, and a capping that includes a moulded margin and a stepped, moulded pyramidal top.
