Description

This listing describes a late 17th century tomb chest and headstone located approximately 1 meter south of the southwest corner of the Church of St Mary in Cheltenham. The tomb chest is rectangular in shape, featuring heavy capping and scrolled ends, along with a cartouche on the west end and eroded inscription panels. The headstone has scalloped edges and commemorates Robert Eckly, who died in 1624.
