Description

Gates, gate piers, and railings to the central gardens date from around 1830 to 1840 and are made of cast iron. They feature arrowhead railings and gates with a scroll motif, along with shaped piers. These elements border the central gardens, which measure approximately 70 meters by 70 meters. Wellington Square is named after the 1st Duke of Wellington, who visited Cheltenham five times between 1805 and 1828.
