Description

This is a chest tomb located approximately 6 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Andrew. It dates from 1736 and 1729 and commemorates Richard Gent and his mother, Temperance. The tomb is constructed of stone rubble walls and features a slate lid that has a border inscription and an epitaph in the center.
