Description

This chest tomb, dated 1647, is located approximately 1.5 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St. Andrew in Buckland Monachorum. It features coursed stone rubble walls, a chamfered plinth, and a coved cornice. The slate lid has an illegible border inscription, and there is an epitaph at the centre surrounded by a decorative border at the bottom.
