Description

The Palmer chest tomb, located about 10 meters southeast of the tower of the Church of St Mary, is a mid-19th century structure made of stone rubble with a slate lid. It commemorates Richard Palmer, who died in 1850, Mary Palmer, who died in 1867, and Grace Palmer, who passed away in 1883. The lid features an ornamental carved border that surrounds the inscription.
