Description
This building is a former stable located approximately 25 metres north-east of Great Bidlake, dating from the late 18th century. It features local stone rubble walls and a half-hipped slate roof, with a rectangular plan that is now a single large room but was likely divided by stalls originally. The structure has two storeys. The front side facing the house has three blocked openings with segmental stone arches above them. On the first floor, to the right of centre, there is a 19th-century single granite-framed light. Additionally, there is a wide doorway at the right-hand end, which is part of a crenellated wall and incorporates a probably 19th-century wide four-centred granite arch.
