Description

This is a table tomb, likely from the 17th century, located approximately 8 metres south-south-west of the Church of St Bridget in Bridestowe. It features a very heavy granite slab that is supported by four square legs, which are moulded at the top. The slab has a square recess in the centre, probably intended for an inscribed slate. Above and below this recess, there is a heraldic shield carved in high relief. Additionally, the sides of the slab are adorned with a decorative pattern, also carved in high relief.
