Description

This chest tomb is located approximately 3.5 metres south of the Church of St. German in Germansweek. It is dated variously to 1667, 1680, 1694, and 1763 and is associated with Roger Seckham and other family members. The tomb features rubble stone sides and a slate lid, which has a border inscription along with two additional inscriptions at the centre, including a rhyming epitaph below.
