Description

Two adjacent headstones, located approximately 20 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Michael, date from the 18th century, with one specifically dated 1703. Both are made of granite. The right headstone has a nowy head and stands about 500mm high, but its inscription is illegible. The left headstone is round-headed and features an inscription in upper and lower case lettering, commemorating the death of William Peerith, who died in 1703.
