Description

Legge Farmhouse is a house, originally a farmhouse, dating to the early 18th century, with additions from the 19th century and alterations in the 20th. The walls are of rendered cob, and the roof is thatched, with brick end stacks. The original plan consisted of two heated rooms, extended in the 19th and 20th centuries by outshuts at either end and to the rear. The house was modernised in the late 20th century. The front facade is asymmetrical, with three windows on the ground and first floors, featuring 20th-century 2-light casements with small panes. A central, 20th-century lean-to porch provides access via a partly-glazed door. Outshuts are located at either end of the building and to the rear. The interior has been modernised and no original features are visible.
