Description

This is a pair of chest tombs located about 6 meters south west of the tower of the Church of St Constantine. They were built in the early 19th century and are made of ashlar masonry with slate lids. The southern chest commemorates Isaac Mason, who died in 1811, and other members of the Mason family. It features a chamfered plinth and cornice, along with a lid that has a flat acanthus leaf border. The northern chest commemorates John Mason, who died in 1820, and other members of the Mason family. It has a similar design but includes a wider slate lid.
