10/235 Pair of Mason chest tombs about - 6m south west of the tower of the church of St Constantine

GV II

Pair of chest tombs. Early C19. Ashlar masonry chests with slate lids. The south chest, commemorating Isaac Mason, died 1811 and other members of the Mason family, has a chamfered plinth and cornice and a lid with a flat acanthus leaf border. The north chest, commemorating John Mason, died 1820 and other members of the Mason family is similar in design with a wider slate lid.
