Description
The Bradshaw Memorial, located about 50 meters south-west of the tower of St Mary, is a small canopy tomb built in 1893. It is made of stone and commemorates Mary Bradshaw, who died in the same year. The memorial features a Gothic canopy with gables on the sides and shorter gables at the ends, supported by hexagonal corner shafts that have moulded plinths and capitals. The shafts end in tall crocketted corner pinnacles, although one pinnacle is missing. Beneath the canopy, there is a foliated cross carved in relief. The design is more characteristic of a cemetery than a churchyard.
