Description

This headstone, dated 1759, is located approximately 11 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Bridget in Bridestowe. It commemorates William Crossman and his wife Agnes. The headstone is made of slate and features a nowy head with a moulded edge. Below the inscription is a rhyming epitaph. The design includes a skull and crossbones carved at the top, with an hourglass on one side and a heart on the other. Above these elements, the inscription reads "memento mon vita brevis."
