Description

Rose Cottage is a probably early 18th century cottage that has been altered and is located high above the road on Mill Street. It features a thatched roof with a hipped gabled end facing the road. The cottage has a sash window with exposed frames and glazing bars, as well as a wood casement. There is a trellis porch at the front, and the stone wall in front is cut for wrought spear-head railings and a gate. Rose Cottage, along with Nos 134 to 138 (even) and Wayside Cottage, forms a group.
