Number 26 on Fore Street in Northam is a building likely dating from the 17th century. It is set back behind a raised lawn and has two storeys with two windows. The exterior is roughcast and creamwashed. Each floor features sash windows with exposed frames. The entrance is plain and relatively wide. There are end chimneys, with the one on the south side projecting. The roof has been recently covered with new slates. Number 26, along with number 27, forms a group.
