Description

This is a boundary stone dating from the early 19th century. It is a monolithic slate slab that is partly buried in a bank and obscured by undergrowth. The stone is inscribed vertically with the words 'Bradworthy/Sutcombe' in deep cut, clear lettering. It currently marks the boundary between Bradworthy civil parish and Pancrasweek civil parish, following a realignment of the parish boundaries in 1884.
