Description
Woodville is a two-storey stucco house built around 1820-1830. Although it has been affected by later additions, the garden front remains attractive. It features three windows and paired Ionic pilasters at the corners and a central pediment on engaged columns. The house has sash windows, with some altered glazing on the first floor, and French windows below. To the left, there is a lower wing with a pedimented gable and a parapet designed to resemble acroteria, with the wall below featuring panel treatments. The good Ionic porch on the road front has a later room built over it. Inside, there are six-panel doors and an ornamental iron balustrade leading to a half-circular stair. At the entrance to the drive, there are ornamental iron gates flanked by square rusticated stucco piers.
