Description

The Sarel headstone, located about 7 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of slate and features a segmental-headed design with ornamental scrolls at the top. The headstone has well-crafted lettering, which includes a verse commemorating Samuel Sarel, who died in 1785.
