Description
Mill Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century or potentially earlier, with a significant 20th-century addition. The exterior is whitewashed and rendered, with a thatched roof, hipped at the east end, and an end stack with a brick shaft. The house has a single-depth range, with the eastern end representing the original part of the building and a wing extending at an oblique angle to the west. The front facade is asymmetrical, featuring a 2:2 window arrangement, with two windows to the addition. A 20th-century front door is located to the right of the original section, and the windows are 20th-century timber casements with glazing. The rear elevation also features 20th-century casement windows with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected. Mill Cottage has group value with Church House and the parish church.
