Description

These are 18th century or earlier corner cottages located in Holcombe Village, Dawlish. The cottages are built with a stone rubble core, later plastered, and have a thatched roof with eyebrow dormers. There are five wooden casement windows. Two thatched porches are present, supported by rustic timber. Historically, the site was the Lobster Inn and was associated with smuggling.
