Description

This is a farmbuilding that forms the south side of the courtyard located to the south of Hams Barton. It dates from the 18th century or earlier and is constructed from local grey limestone rubble, topped with a roof of small slates that are hipped at the ends. The building is a single storey, likely used for storage, featuring a doorway in the east gable end and three windows in the north wall, all with timber lintels. Positioned opposite the hall range of Hams Barton, this farmbuilding is an important part of the courtyard and enhances the setting of the significant 16th and 17th century house.
