Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located about 6 metres south of the centre of the aisle of the Church of St Andrew. The tombs date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The southernmost tomb is made of volcanic trap and features an oversailing lid, with an inscription commemorating a member of the Tucker family who died in the 17th century (the last two numbers of the date are illegible). The middle tomb is low and also has an oversailing lid, with remnants of a 17th-century inscription. The easternmost tomb is made of red sandstone, has an oversailing lid, and features an illegible inscription.
