Description

The Bridge at the Mill, likely built in the 19th century, carries Well Covert Lane over two mill leats. It is constructed from stone rubble and features two rounded arches with rough granite capping stones on the parapets. Notably, the bottom of the leat that flows through the easternmost arch is higher than that of the westernmost arch. Although Ideford Mill is now in ruins, the bridge remains a charming feature in a small wooded valley.
