Description

52 High Street is a late 18th century refronting of a 17th century building, historically referred to as the Golden Lyon House in a deed from 1727. The structure has three storeys and a dormer, featuring two windows. It is topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof and has a timber-framed, plastered front with a coved eaves cornice. The dormer has a segmental-headed sash window, while the architraved sash windows on the upper floors include glazing bars. The ground floor features a loggia over the pavement, supported by granite Tuscan columns, and there is a modern shopfront.
