Description
This ha-ha, located immediately east and south of Sharpham House, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a pitched slate rubble revetment that stands about 1 metre high, with a small plain gateway cut through later, positioned opposite the east front of the house. The structure is curved in plan, with a farm track below and a lawn leading up to the house above. The ha-ha is part of the picturesque landscaping of the grounds at Sharpham House, which was developed during the late 18th and 19th centuries.
