Description
Willing Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of slate rubble, with the southwest side featuring slate hanging. It has a bituminised slate hipped roof supported by paired brackets at the eaves soffit. The building stands two storeys high and has a southeast front with three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set in brick jambs and topped with cambered arches. The central doorway is framed by a moulded doorcase with panelled reveals, a pediment, and a glazed door. Inside, there is a staircase with stacked balusters and a wreathed handrail. Willing was historically the seat of the Sewery family.
