Description

This 18th or early 19th century building comprises two properties, 85 and 87 Fore Street. It is a three-storey structure with four windows on each upper floor. The windows are flush frame sashes, now with centre glazing bars only. The roof is covered in slate, and there is an eaves cornice detailed with coupled brackets. Modern shop fronts now occupy the ground floor; at No. 85, a former wooden entablature remains, along with an opening underneath it on the left side. Properties 75 to 109 (odd numbers) and No. 115 form a group.
