Description

The boundary walls on the west and southwest side of the churchyard of the Church of St Andrew date from the early 19th century. They are made of local slate stone rubble topped with rounded rubble capping. The walls serve partly as a retaining wall for the churchyard, which is elevated above the surrounding ground. At the northern end, there are a pair of square section gate piers that have been fitted with replaced caps. The gate piers located at the center of the wall are separately listed as the Pair of Gate Piers Southwest of the Church of St Andrew.
