Description
The front garden walls and gateway east of The Old Rectory date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed from local slate rubble and feature rounded pitched slate capping. The walls enclose a large front garden, which has a rounded shape at the front where the walls curve back to a central gateway. The gateway is slightly higher than the walls and includes slate capping, a dressed slate round arch, and chamfered plinths on the piers. The plank door is a later addition. The ground level outside to the right is lower than the garden inside.
