Description
The gates and gate piers located about 25 metres south of the Church of St James are likely from 1878 and were designed by the architect R Medley Fulford, who also designed the church. The gate piers are made of round stone rubble and feature vertical slates set into the top of each pier. The wrought iron pair of gates includes dog rails and diagonal braces above, with stiles that rise to finials above the top rail. The shafts of the gates have ornate heads.
