Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of shops, comprising numbers 28 to 31. It is two storeys high and has two windows in each unit. The roofs are covered with Welsh slate and feature projecting eaves supported by brackets. The facades are rendered in stucco. The windows are recessed sash windows with exposed surrounds and glazing bars. The ground floor has four-light shop windows with cornices supported by console brackets. The doorways are round-arched and have edge-roll mouldings; numbers 28 and 29 have patterned fanlights above the doors, and most have raised and fielded panelled doors. A carriage entrance leads to Chapel Lane at the west end of the terrace.
