NORTH HUISH SX75NW NORTH HUISH 4/484 Limekiln at NGR 712 563 approximately 240 metres SSE of Church of St Mary

GV II

Limekiln. Circa early C19. Mainly local shale rubble. The limekiln is built into a bank for leading at the top. The front has rounded corners and a large pointed arch swallow (opening) semi-circular on plan and corbelled inside with a stoking hole at the back. Included for group value.
