Description
This is a pair of small outbuildings located immediately west of Blackpool House, likely built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from locally sourced stone rubble and feature hipped thatched roofs. Both buildings are rectangular in shape and single storey.
The building on the left (north) is currently used as a garage and was probably originally a gap-house, with its entrance located at the right (south) end, although it may have been open-fronted at first. The west front now has a stone rubble wall with a very small hatch at the center, which includes an old plank door, while the right (south) end has 20th-century plank garage doors.
The right (south) outbuilding's purpose is unclear. It has a doorway on the left (north) side with a 20th-century plank door and a 20th-century four-light casement window with glazing bars on the west front. The interiors were not inspected.
