Description
This is a bridge located about 75 metres southeast of Painsford Mill, built around 1801. It spans the Harbourne River and is constructed from local slate rubble with a dressed stone arch ring. The bridge features a single-span round arch and has a hump-back design. The parapet on the east side retains some of its original slate coping, while the west side has later pitched stone coping. It carries a farm track over the stream. Historical records indicate that a conveyance from 1801 required the construction of a bridge to access the rabbit warren.
