Description
No. 24 Castle Street is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early 19th century. The front is solidly rendered, and it has a slated roof. There is a base of an old red brick chimney on the left side wall. The building has three storeys and features a three-window range with irregular fenestration. The ground storey includes a six-panelled door on the left, with panelled reveals and flanking pilasters, although it lacks an entablature. To the right, there is a 20th-century shop front. The upper storey windows are fitted with eight-paned sashes, and there is a deep, boxed eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
