Description

The Tucker headstone, dating from 1775, is located against the east wall of the south transept, approximately 3 metres south of the south wall of the nave of the Church of St John Baptist in Instow. The headstone features a stone segmental head and bears the inscription: "Here Lyeth the Body of Edward Tucker Yeoman of this parish died 1775."
