Description
The Cidermill building, located approximately 10 metres north of West Yelland Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with some brick on the left gable end and features a slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall, with the apple loft unfloored at the north end to accommodate a cider press. Above the two window openings to the right of the plank door, there is a loft door opening. Inside, the floor is cobbled, and the majority of the fittings, including the mill, racks, and barrels, remain intact and are still in use.
