Description
Hollamoor Barton is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with a 19th-century addition at the rear. It is constructed of stone rubble and cob, topped with a slate roof featuring rendered stacks at each end. The building has two storeys and a central entrance hall that contains a staircase, with two rooms on either side and service rooms at the rear, creating a double range plan.
The facade is symmetrical with four window openings. The upper storey features 19th-century two-light casements, each with eight panes per light. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows with four over four panes, accompanied by two-paned sidelight sashes. The window openings on the ground floor are adorned with fluted keystones. The central doorway is a four-panelled door topped with a rectangular overlight, and there is an 18th-century armorial stone crest above it. The fenestration at the rear range is largely intact from the 19th century, and there is a lean-to structure at the right end. A brief inspection of the interior indicated that much of the 18th and 19th-century joinery remains intact, although the roof was not inspected.
