Description

The Imperial Hotel is a building dating from around 1810, constructed of dark red stone and standing two stories tall in its own grounds. The garden front features five windows, with the lower windows set in segmental arched recesses. The entrance front has three windows and includes an impressive Ionic porch supported by coupled columns. The building has shutters and sash windows with glazing bars, and the entrance door is topped with a fanlight. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. There are later brick additions to the structure.
