It dates from the late 14th century to early 15th century, with the chancel rebuilt in 1879-80 by Christian and further restoration by Fulford. The church is constructed of limestone with a red sandstone west tower and features a slate roof. The tower is three-stage and castellated. The church has a three-bay nave with a north aisle only. Inside, there is a Perpendicular wagon roof, a Perpendicular pulpit, and a screen, all restored by Hems in 1879-80. Notable features include a poor box from 1700, bench ends, a Norman font, and stained glass by Drake.
