Description

This building comprises two houses, numbers 28 and 29, situated on New North Road and dating to around 1850. The houses are constructed of stucco and feature three storeys with a pair of windows each, designed in a matching style. The ground floor is rusticated, and there is a plain verandah. Sash windows are set within architraves, and are supported by brackets. The windows retain their original glazing bars. The roof is hipped and slate-covered, punctuated by one dormer window on each house. A pineapple finial adorns the pier of the garden wall. Numbers 9 to 29, inclusive, form a visually cohesive group.
