15 and 16 Castle Street are early to mid 19th century buildings with a stucco front and a decorative band at the second floor level. They rise to four storeys and have three windows, with the center window being blank except on the top floor, where it features French windows with cast-iron balconies on the ground floor. Number 16 includes a 19th century shop front. The buildings have paired doorways adorned with Greek ornamentation, and they are topped with a cornice and a parapet, although the roof is not visible. All the listed buildings on Castle Street are part of a group.
