Description

22 Church Road is a late 18th century to early 19th century building, likely constructed from roughcast cob. It stands two storeys high and features three windows with sashes that have glazing bars. The building retains the remains of quoins and has a notable contemporary doorcase with linked doorways beneath a single lintel, along with panelled reveals. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. This property was purchased by Charles Dickens for his parents to live in.
