Description

The Livery Dole Almshouses, built around 1865, are located on Heavitree Road. Constructed from white limestone rubble, they are designed in an Elizabethan style. The building consists of two blocks connected by a blocked archway and stands two storeys high. It features mullioned lattice casements and has a slate roof with tall stone stacks. The Livery Dole Almshouses, along with the chapel, archway, and wall, form a cohesive group.
