Description

House, consisting of numbers 1 and 2, dating from the late 17th century and altered in 1969. Originally three rooms, following the typical layout of 17th-century Dutch houses in Topsham. The building is constructed of Dutch brick with a slate roof. It presents an asymmetrical facade to the street, with two 20th-century doors centrally placed. There are four ground-floor and six first-floor windows, likely within original openings but reglazed in the 20th century. The interior, which was not available for inspection during the survey, is reported to contain a 17th-century staircase and 17th-century plasterwork.
