Description

This is an 18th-century house located on a corner plot in Withycombe Raleigh. The facade is roughcast with a prominent horizontal string course. The house has a gable end facing the street, with a window in the attic gable. It is two storeys high and has four windows, one of which is blank on the first floor. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and segmental arches. A six-panelled door is positioned off-centre and is sheltered by a flat hood supported by brackets. A substantial brick chimney with a decorative cornice is a notable feature. The roof is covered with slate.
