Description
The Old Vicarage, dating from the early 19th century, features a colourwashed roughcast facade and stands two storeys high. It has a gable end with one window on each floor facing the street. The building showcases elaborate bargeboards and has two-storeyed splayed bays on either side of the doorway, which is adorned with casements that have Gothic lights. A Tudor porch adds to its character, while the bargeboards and eaves fascia are intricately carved with trefoils. The roof is slate, although it was likely originally thatched. Attached to the property is a garden boundary wall made of minted brick, approximately 8 feet high, which includes a garden door flanked by Gothic lead and brick piers.
