Description

Rose Cottage is an early 19th-century house, stuccoed with a fishscale slate roof featuring stone coping on the gable ends and paired eaves brackets. The building has corner pilasters that are rusticated at the base and decorated with a key pattern above. It is two storeys tall and consists of three bays. The windows are sash with glazing bars, and there is a casement window in the centre of the first floor. The central doorway is round arched and framed by a moulded architrave, with a rectangular fanlight that has diamond panes and a panelled door. The house also has rendered end chimney stacks.
